Dieke Gerritsen
2021-Present
Dieke joined us in 2021 for an MSc project on the fundamental question what the best approach is to sample and average paleosecular variation in sedimentary rocks. This is of key importance to determine how to use sediment-based paleomagnetic records for apparent polar wander paths, which is part of the PhD project of Bram Vaes.
“(How) do sedimentary rocks record paleosecular variation of the geomagnetic field?”.
