Dr. Abdul Qayyum
2019-2021
Abdul was hired as a post-doc in 2019 on my Vici project, to build a kinematic restoration of the Kohistan-Ladakh arc of Pakistan. He received a PhD in 2018 at the Middle East Technical University of Ankara, Turkey.
Project: Paleolatitude and paleogeography of the Kohistan Arc and the Helmand Block in Pakistan-Afghanistan (funded by VICI project ‘Tracing the Regional Initiator of the Great Global Eocene plate Reorganization (TRIGGER)’.
