Guatemala 2007
Within the context of IGCP program 546 Subduction zones of the Caribbean Uwe Martens (Stanford University, USA) and Antonio Garcia-Casco (University of Granada, Spain) organised an international, well-attended excursion to the High-Pressure, Low Temperature terranes of the Motagua belt of Guatemala. This field meeting was attended by close to 50 people from unversities all over the world, from undergrad student to full professor. Below you will find a photo impression of this excursion.
